50 Minute Dishcloth

 

The 50 Minute Dishcloth Crochet pattern is quick and easy and only takes 50 minutes to make.

Materials needed:

4mm or 4,5mm crochet hook

1 skein ( 105 yards) of cotton yarn will make two if you use a 4mm hook. You can always make one and make a few of the Aromatherapy cloths with the leftover yarn.

Scissors

Yarn needle

Stitches used:

CH = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

HDC = Half Double Crochet

DC = Double Crochet

Cluster = 1 SC, 1 HDC , 1 DC in the same stitch.

Reverse SC= Reverse Single Crochet

Pattern Notes:

This pattern is written in US terms

When you complete the last cluster of each row, place the last Single crochet into the top of the turning chain instead of the single crochet

Chain 25

 Foundation row: starting in second chain from hook: 1 Sc in each chain across row you will have 24 SC in this row.

Row 1: Chain 2, turn, Cluster in the first SC, *skip the next two SC, cluster in the next SC,* repeat From * until you have 8 Clusters, skip the next two SC and then SC in the last SC.

Row 2: Chain 2, Turn, Cluster in the first SC, * Skip the next two stitches, Cluster in the next stitch * repeat from * Until you have a 8 Clusters, SC in the top of the turning chain

Repeat row two, 12 more times.  You will have a total of 14 rows.

Do not finish off.

Edging:

Round 1: Chain 1, turn, SC evenly around cloth, putting 3, SC in each corner. Join with first SC. If you would like you can finish off at this point and weave in ends. Or go to round 2.

Round 2. Do not Turn. Chain 1, Working backwards: reverse single Crochet into each of the SC from round 1 of edging. Join when you reach the first reverse SC.

Finish off and weave in ends.
