Nautical Bliss Crochet Along

Welcome to the Nautical Bliss Crochet along. This blanket pattern consists of 4 bobble stitch motif blocks and 5 plain blocks. Starting on Saturday I will be posting one block a week for the next 4 weeks.

Stitches used:

CH = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

HDC = Half Double Crochet

Bobble = Half Double Crochet Bobble

Special Stitch:

Half Double Crochet Bobble stitch: This stitch is worked from the wrong side.

Yarn over, pick up a loop in stitch, draw through first 2 loops on hook, you will still have 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull up loop, draw through first two loops on hook, you will have 3 loops left on hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, draw through first two loops on hook, you will have 4 loops on hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, draw through first two loops on hook, yarn over draw through all 5 loops on hook, Bobble stitch is now complete.

Materials needed:

4.5mm crochet hook

The blocks require approximately 340 yards of worsted weight yarn each.

I suggest using 2 Skeins of Caron 1 pound in color Azure for the bobble motifs and 3 Skeins of Caron 1 pound in color Lace for the plain blocks.

Scissors

Yarn needle
