Left Handed Treble Clef Scarf
Materials needed:
4 mm crochet hook
500 yards of worsted weight yarn
Scissors
Yarn needle
This pattern is written in US terms
Stitches used:
CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
Bobble = Half Double Crochet Bobble
Special Stitch:
Half Double Crochet Bobble stitch: This stitch is worked from the wrong side. Yarn over, pick up a loop in stitch, draw through first 2 loops on hook, you will still have 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull up loop, draw through first two loops on hook, you will have 3 loops left on hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, draw through first two loops on hook, you will have 4 loops on hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, draw through first two loops on hook, yarn over draw through all 5 loops on hook. Bobble stitch is now complete.
Pattern Notes:
* The chain 1 does not count as a stitch in this pattern
* this pattern uses Single Crochet in the non bobble rows instead of a half double crochet.
* the finished scarf is fairly long. If you would like a shorter scarf you can use a SC and popcorn stitch instead of a HDC bobble. You may also use SC in the all HDC rows.
