Until last Spring I was not a huge shawl fan. I found myself needing a wrap to go with a dress I was wearing to a party. I spent several hours searching for the perfect pattern and I just fell in love with so many different designs. I am going to share with you a few of my favorite shawl patterns. From beginner to intermediate designs you are sure to find something right for you. Please note that not all of the pictures are of my work. Some are directly from the pattern that the link will take you to.
My absolute favorite shawl designs are all from the same designer on ravelry, Jinty Lyons. Not all of her patterns are free but they are well worth the investment. Just click on the link above each picture to go directly to the pattern site.

Virus shawls are everywhere. The pattern may look a bit intimidating, just give it a try. Once you get the hang of it, you will love it. The pattern is written as a chart and also has video tutorials including one for south paws.

Wow! This is so awesome. How beautiful. I wish I could make these – I have never really been too talented at sewing, knitting or anything of the like! 🙂

Hello! I agree with you in the “I used to not like shawls” attitude. I have been loving them as well. You have chosen some beauties to highlight here in your post. I am currently stitching up Lila Bjorn’s Grinda Shawl. Beautiful shawls, here we come!😊❤️
