In addition to all of my Broomstick lace projects that I have going at the moment I am also working on three different versions of a new design I came up with the other day. With any luck I will have the pattern ready to share with you by the end of the weekend. I am calling this the Anything is PAWsible Shawl.
I have been asked a few times in the past three days why I am working on three different projects with the same design at the same time. For this one the answer is easy. The first one is the trial run, to see if this pattern is going to work out the way I had planned it in my head. I have the second one started for a few reasons. The main reason is that I work up a second one after I write the pattern down, to make sure I didn’t miss something in the pattern. The second reason is that I want to see how it works up using a solid color. I also picked a different brand yarn of the same size to see if the hook size works for that brand also. When it comes to the third one I wanted a lighter weight shawl so I am trying it out using sock weight yarn to see what changes need to be made to my original design.
Stay tuned for the finished work and the pattern. In the mean time what is on your hook today? Hop on over to my Facebook page and show us.
Happy Hooking!
